What does SpoilAlert do?
SpoilAlert is an expiry date tracker. You add food and household items with their expiry or best before date, and it reminds you before they run out of time. It is a reminder tool and does not judge whether something is safe to eat.
Do I need an account to use SpoilAlert?
No. There is no sign-up and no login. Open the app and start adding items.
Does SpoilAlert work offline?
Yes. It works without an internet connection, and your reminders are created on your phone.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. Your items, notes and photos stay on your phone, and we never receive them. If backup is turned on for your phone, Android may back up app data to your own Google account, which you control in your device settings. The Privacy Policy explains the details.
